Current Litters

These rats are not currently available. As soon as I decide who I am growing out, the rest will become available.

Meara x Rufio 7-26-24

13 babies born. 7 male and 6 female. Culled 5 males as pinkies to bring the litter down to 8 kits. At day 4 adopted a female kit, the same age as hers, whose mom died. Lost a Black Marten Male at 2 1/2 weeks (not sure if he squeezed out of the cage (don’t know where he could have) or was eaten by mom, no sign of him).

Donna x Rufio 9-8-24

3 babies born. 2 females and 1 male. 2 babies failed to thrive. Seemed to have issues latching despite mom and myself trying to assist. WILL NOT be repeating the pairing. 1 female left. Took the 2 boys from Riya’s litter and gave them to Donna as her milk production was slowing down possibly due to only having the one kit. This seems to have worked, and all babies are fat and the pinky has a nice milk band

Available Rats

These rats are available to go to new homes. Send us a message if you’re interested and make sure to check out the adoption page!

*I may have rats that are a bit more timid/skittish available especially while I am working on establishing my line. I will NEVER make any rats that have a bite record available.

Boston is a cute little guy born 8-5-24. We will not be growing him out for a couple of reasons. He is a bit skittish as his mom was pretty maternally aggressive (the other reason we won’t be holding onto him), so I was not able to interact with her babies quite as much. Both of his parents (outside of mom’s maternal aggression while caring for them) are very curious and sweet. He’s been warming up more so I do think he will get better with time, but he is strictly to go to a pet home.

Remy is a 7-month-old Mink Dumbo male. He is to go to a pet home as he does not quite have the temperament we are looking for in our breeding program. He will let you pick him up and pet him, but not all the time. Sometimes he wants his space. When held outside of the cage he prefers to be in a bonding pouch, a pocket, in your shirt, etc. He just prefers dark places as he gets a little nervous. He will take treats from your hand, and he does it so gently! He is a sweet boy; we are just working towards breeding more confident rats so will not be adding him to the program as originally intended. I would prefer he and Rascal go together.

Rascal is a 4-month-old Himalayan Variegated male. He is to go to a pet home only as he is a bit skittish. He will come up and lick/sniff your hands and check your hands for treats. He really does not like to be picked up. This could be improved over time, and he has come more out of his shell especially over the last month. He is a sweet boy, the skittishness is just not ideal for any breeding program. I would prefer he and Remy go together.
